Sylvie Kettle
Sylvie Kettle is a self-taught artist based in the Northern Rivers, Australia.
Her paintings are characterised by bold mark-making and an intelligent, whimsical use of colour. Guided by an ongoing engagement with the subconscious, her practice dances in the space between spontaneity and quiet consideration.
Through years of artistic dialogue, Kettle has developed a distinctive visual language that moves between sensorial depictions of everyday moments and expansive, dreamlike landscapes.
Kettle’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including across the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Indonesia.
